Many parents have the desire to stay home and care for their young children, at least temporarily. There are many benefits to having one parent stay home with the kids: children are exposed to fewer viruses in the home environment, the stay-at-home parent can spend more time with their kids, and, of course, you can save yourself the thousand or so it may cost every month to send your child to daycare.
